Clinical and Physical Examinations

Clinical and physical examinations allow for Dr. Fast to quickly understand your neurological and orthopedic history.  He then can better diagnose your symptoms and their causes or identify possible red flags to watch out for in the future.

Radiology & Testing

Radiology (x–ray), diagnostic testing, and surface electromyography located on–site will let Dr. Fast be table to see how your body is handling the stress or strain.  This allows him to treat you quickly and accurately without needing additional appointments with third party clinics.

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage allows for you to relax as we work on the affected area in order to help the muscles further relax.

Chiropractic Treatments

Flexion Distraction

This chiropractic technique is used to increase spinal motion and remove pressure from spinal nerves in a gentle fashion.  The motion of the spinal inflection encourages nutrients to flow into spinal discs to keep them fully functional.  It can also assist with sciatica by removing the pressure from the area to promote healing.

Spinal Decompression

A non-surgical alternative, spinal decompression assists in reversing the compression of your spinal vertebrae.  The decompression will allow healing nutrients to flow easier into the disc.  Additionally, it allows the herniated or bulging disc to reposition itself in its proper location by taking the pressure off it.

Neck Traction

For those suffering from neck pain, our neck traction unit will allow you to lie down and relax as it stretches your neck, decompressing the vertebrae.  This can also help free pinched nerves to further relieve pain.

Intersegmental Traction

This therapy massages along the spinal cord, gently stretching ligaments and muscles to increase mobility.  It also helps relax the muscles to reduce muscle spasms.  As it massages, blood flow is increased through the back, which can accelerating recovery time for back injury.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation

Built to assist with both acute and chronic pain, this is a non-invasive nerve stimulation.  This treatment utilizes electrical impulses that stimulate muscles in order to help loosen muscle fibers, increase blood circulation, and stimulate muscle growth.  It can also re-educate paralyzed muscles and prevent muscle atrophy.

Microcurrent Therapy

Much like electrical muscle stimulations, microcurrent therapy mimics the brain’s impulses to manipulate the muscles.  This resonates with your tissues and creates a stimulation to loosen the affected area as well as lessen your pain.

Vibration Therapy

Our G5 unit massages the affected areas as well as soothingly vibrates the muscles to help relieve tension.  In the process, it brings blood to the surface of the skin, which promotes circulation and healing.

Ultrasound Therapy

This passive therapy consists of using ultrasound waves in order to help the body heal.  Ultrasound waves heat the area, which increases blood circulation and promotes healing.  They also reduce swelling and edema in the treated area.  And finally, the wand gently massages the areas in order to help soften scar tissue.

MedX

These machines can precisely measure your strength, range of motion, and endurance and compare them to established norms for your age, height, and weight.  This uncovers the source of muscle weakness before it isolates and stabilizes the injured muscles in the back and neck.  Then it helps strengthen the muscles through simple movements.  MedX can assist those with herniated or bulging discs, muscles damaged from injury, and who are rehabilitating from back surgery.
